Originally from El Paso, Texas, Anita has a diverse professional background spanning North America, Western Europe and South East Asia, where she has worked in project management, community building, DEI, and education. In 2020, Anita pursued a master's in Anthropology and Sociology at Leiden University, delving into immigration and social housing policy in The Netherlands and later began working with impact startups in Amsterdam.

As the child of Mexican and Jamaican immigrants, Blue Road Academy's mission resonates deeply, aligning with her commitment to fostering inclusivity. Anita seeks to bridge cultural gaps and celebrate diversity, aiming to create a more inclusive society.
